2018 – Future of Europe

The international art competition “2018 – Future of Europe” was announced by the Czech Council on Foreign Relations together with the Institute of International Relations and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Czechoslovakia.

The aim of the project is to give students of art schools an opportunity to express their views and ideas about the future of Europe. 

151 students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Croatia, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Greece, and Slovakia took part in the competition.

The resulting works aim to contribute to the public debate on the future of Europe.

The patronage of the project was taken over by:
