The exhibition features recent works of students, teachers, and graduates of the Department of Figurative Sculpture 1 of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Technology in Brno.
It presents different approaches to sculpture as regards materials used, forms and concepts, as well as the rate of interactivity.
Presented side by side are classical studies, free figurative art, and works of a non-figurative character. This confrontation of styles on the extraordinary premises of the DOX Centre, accompanied by works from the head of the department, professor and academic sculptor Michal Gabriel, and the assistant MgA. Tomáš Medek, offers an interesting overview of sculpture.
