Calendar (A Look Into the Archive 9)

We look at them the whole year, but often we don’t even see them. They entertain, decorate, and educate. At the end of the year they go into the recycling bin and only rarely do they make it into gallery collections and exhibitions. At the Archive, we’ve got several hundred of them stored away. Calendars.

We’re interested in reproductions of artworks, photographs and photographers, typography and printing, subject matter and contemporary appearance. The most interesting pieces from the Art Archive and from Petr Kalač’s private collection will be presented in the next exhibition from the A Look Into the Archive series.
