StartPoint: Prize for Emerging Artists
However, StartPoint is not only about an exhibition accompanied by
a catalogue and a website. Just as importantly, it is about encounters between artists and experts across countries, traditions and genres that can bring both them and the audience new opportunities for comparison. There is also a residential programme for the overall winner and other prizewinning finalists, which aims to continue this process.
This year, the exhibition of StartPoint finalists will for the first time bring to Prague the most interesting members of the coming generation of European artists.
For more information, see www.startpointprize.eu and on Facebook: www.facebook.com/startpointprize.
StartPoint is organized by the Arbor vitae Foundation with support from the European Union's Culture Programme and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
