WE ARE OPEN AT DOX

Extended opening hours, free admission,
and above all an interesting programme. All this awaits you on Thursday
evening, 26 April, at DOX as part of the We’re Open event!
At DOX you will also be able to take in a performance of “Sněhen” by the Dr.amAs theatre company, which will be part of the accompanying programme of Ladislav Svoboda’s Artistic Spectrum Disorders exhibition, presented at DOX by Artwall Gallery. Those interested in attending the performance must register in advance on our website.
The ability to visit the new DOX+ multifunctional space will certainly also garner great interest. It will feature the work of its in-residence theatre studio, Farm in the Cave.
DOX+ also features ARCHIP, a private school of architecture, whose students have prepared an installation called Outside In: Prague Happiness, Part II for visitors. The project reflects the fact that the public space is overwhelmingly inundated with unnecessary symbols. So why not replace them with new ones? The installation came about in cooperation with the Design Disco student project and author Atoosa Ghanaei.
We’re Open is now in its eight year, and its objective is to present the cultural richness and diversity of Prague 7, which in recent has been confidently presenting itself as Prague’s Art District. DOX is the main organizer of this event, which in 2018 will feature almost 40 sites located in Prague 7.
