During the FALL festival, school groups have the unique opportunity to experience a discussion with special guests. Bassam Aramin, a Palestinian academic, and Rami Elhanan, an Israeli graphic designer, lost their daughters to violence in their homeland. Each on a different side of the long-standing conflict. Now they give lectures together all over the world. The story of an unlikely friendship between two fathers, united by their grief and their desire for peace, inspired Colum McCann's award-winning novel Apeirogon. The talk will be translated into Czech and will be followed by the educational programme Story Exchange.

Relatively new, but already proven by hundreds of events, the Story Exchange programme develops empathy through the sharing of personal stories, enables identification with works of art and, from the perspective of educators and students, is a rare moment to get to know each other and at the same time develop the competencies needed to build a story and narrative.
