Opening event of BERG Orchestra's new season
Contemporary music performed by the BERG Orchestra – new season’s opening concert! Psychedelico-lyrical fresco WhatsPop (2022) by French composer Aurélien Dumont combines contemporary music, pop culture, philosophy, and literature. The exceptionally demanding vocal part reflects a huge number of musical styles and voice registers, from Renaissance music to rock and noise. Music instruments include toaster, typewriter or hairdryer. Integral part of the work is also a dialogue of the singer with a selected personality – our guest will
be Pavel Klusák, music journalist.
Programme

BERG Orchestra & Peter Vrábel – conductor
