Summer movie nights on a grassy roof in the middle of the city. Films that you won’t see just anywhere. A big movie screen, clear sound in headphones, and refreshing drinks. That’s the new Evergreen Summer Cinema, on the roof of the DOX+ multifunction hall.

On 5 August, we will screen I'm Not There

This very unusual biographical drama about the life and work of Bob Dylan follows his whole musical career from the acoustic beginnings through drug experiments in the 1960s to his Christian period in the 1970s and 1980s. The film puts emphasis on both his personal and public life, and on his sources of inspiration. The different life phases of one of the most distinguished musicians of all time are portrayed by six different actors, regardless of age, race, or gender.

The American director Todd Haynes studied art and founded an organization to support independent cinema. He soon started making films belonging to this category, which have made him an iconic personality of indie cinema. His films are popular with critics as well as audiences worldwide, and have won numerous festival awards. I'm Not There earned him a Silver Lion at Venice IFF.
