Come and join us in welcoming the publication accompanying the exhibition Miquel Barceló and the Written Worlds.
Miquel Barceló and the Written Worlds is the artist’s first-ever presentation in the Czech Republic, and it focuses on his intense and long-standing relationship with literature. The catalog presents the artist in the same way as the exhibition, through paintings, ceramics, watercolors, bronzes, prints, and books.
The catalogue will be christened by exhibition curator Enrique Juncosa, with an introductory speech by Gonzalo Manglano de Garay, director of the Instituto Cervantes of Prague.
Before the launch, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition with the curator at 4.00 p.m.

Point of View 3: Balance
The third instalment of a long-term project seeks a balance between the organic and technical worlds. The work of Czech and foreign artists reveals the various connections between nature and technology - two seemingly disparate environments to which we intrinsically belong today, even though we perceive a certain tension between them.
Thomas Grauman: Confrontations
The exhibition presents photographs by American artist Thomas Grauman, taken during his short visit to Prague and depicting unofficial art events that took place in May 1984 at Jiří David's studio.

Radim Langer, who is interested in the relationships between individual color tones, distinctive, bright shades, and color contrasts, is exhibiting his works at the Polička/Shelf in the Fine Arts Archive.
GA-I-SU-RA
A homage to Petr Geisler and his work, GA-I-SU-RA also pays tribute to calligraphy as a form of inner expression, reminding us that writing and beautiful script have always been a natural reflection of (not only) a pure soul. From his expressive calligraphy through multiple-exposure photography from 1980s Japan to his monumental inscription of the Buddhist Heart Sutra.
