Summer movie nights on a grassy roof in the middle of the city. Films that you won't see just anywhere. A big movie screen, clear sound in headphones, and refreshing drinks. That's the new Evergreen Summer Cinema, on the roof of the DOX+ multifunction hall. The Evergreen Summer Cinema kicks off on Wednesday, July 8, with Manifesto, a film by Berlin artist and director Julian Rosefeldt, in which Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett plays thirteen different characters - including a teacher, editor, worker and homeless man - quoting some of the most famous manifestos in art history. According to The Guardian, this examination of the ideas of exceptional artists and thinkers such as André Breton, Kazimir Malevič, Lars von Trier, or Jim Jarmusch is not only smart, but also extremely refreshing and entertaining.
