The discussion with Mat Collishaw has been moved from its original date to 9 May 2024. Thank you for your understanding.

How does literature inspire British artist Mat Collishaw's own creation? How do language and text find their way into his work, and what other artistic genres does he enjoy combining? Has the artist's view of Kafka's work changed over the years?

The work of more than thirty internationally renowned artists in the KAFKAesque exhibition shows that Kafka's work, with its references to existential fears and personal anxieties, is highly relevant to our times. British artist Mat Collishaw will discuss his relationship to Franz Kafka's work, literature and visual art with exhibition curator Otto M. Urban on board the airship Gulliver.
