An educational programme utilizing the Narrative 4 methodology and images from the MILKOV exhibition
Storytelling has been a part of people and their memories since time immemorial. Stories are created, remembered, written down, illustrated, and shared. Experience a story in the way that the international project Narrative 4 and the concept of “radical empathy” works with it - sharing stories through storytelling has many useful effects that go well beyond the realm of literature.
Participants’ own authentic stories are the basis of the experiential programme, and authenticity is essential. The personal story, prepared in advance, should be on the theme of “transformation” and no longer than 5 minutes long. And because it is meant to be shared, each participant can decide whether to choose a serious or light-hearted story.
The storytelling and sharing of stories in the programme has the power to bring people with very different personalities closer to each other, thanks to securely established rules. And as we have proven, the experience is also transferable to the participating teacher. In addition, as part of the current MILKOV exhibition, we also have plenty of visual material to inspire and transform.
