The educational programme uses the exhibition Point of View: Identity.
Can truth be objective? Or is it always the result of a subjective perspective? This educational programme explores the thin line between truth, lies, and constructed opinion, especially in the field of human culture and the public space, with which contemporary art is intertwined in its own distinctive way. Participants will be led to reflect on how easily the meaning of information can be shifted in the media space and how contemporary art in particular can use mystification to induce doubt. The program aims to equip participants with basic tools and concepts for recognising manipulation and ambiguity - in art as well as everyday reality. Works of art can reveal how our beliefs and perceptions are shaped by cultural and personal factors and how they can be manipulated to lead us to the "correct" interpretations of reality. And we ourselves welcome it.
The project is funded by the European Union.
