Who is it for? For nursery school and 1st to 3rd grade of primary school
How long is it? 70–90 min
How much does it cost for a school group? 120 CZK/person for groups of 10 to 25 people | accompanying teacher free
How much for any other group? 480 CZK/person for groups of 10 or more
When and how to order? Ideally the programme should be ordered at least 2 weeks in advance, to pre-book the programme please fill in the booking form.
Cancellation? At least one workday in advance, otherwise a cancellation fee of CZK 500 applies

Educational programme on space and spatial installations of the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art
Since ancient times, people have been placing sculptures in the space around them. This also includes monuments, columns, installations, and many other objects that you encounter all the time in the city. Why is this? Where else can we find statues? And what is a statue anyway? What is it for? What kind of things can it be made of? Do you think it can be made out of old shoes? Or from garbage? Together we will embark on a playful and exploratory journey through the DOX Centre.
From our experience, we know that sculptures and other objects are particularly fascinating and inspiring for young viewers. You can walk around them, sometimes you can touch them; it's as if they are more present with us. And then it's great to create a sculpture. Is it possible for a class of young sculptors to complete at least one sculpture, though? It is! Even one that you can easily bring back to your (pre-)school by tram!
