How much does a ticket cost? Basic 90 CZK | reduced admission 60 CZK (You may enter the programme with a valid ticket for Book World Prague 2021. Book your seat at the Book World Prague reservation system.)

In what language? The evening will be in English.

Is it possible to watch it online? We will be streaming the discussion live on the YouTube and Facebookpages of the DOX Centre.

Do I need a test to go to the airship? We follow current government regulations against covid-19, you will be asked to provide proof of infection-free status upon entry.

The event is organized by the 26th International Book Fair and Literary Festival Book World Prague ´21 in collaboration with Host Publishing and DOX Centre for Contemporary Art.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's books have been translated into more than thirty languages. Her first novel, Purple Hibiscus (2003), won the Commonwealth Writers' Prize and her second novel, Half of a Yellow Sun (2006), won the Orange Prize. Her 2013 novel Americana won the 2013 National Book Critics Circle Award and was named one of the New York Times Ten Best Books of 2013.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has delivered two significant talks as part of the TED Talk series: they were the 2009 TED Talk “The Danger of A Single Story” and the 2012 TEDx Euston Talk entitled “We Should All Be Feminists'', which launched a global debate on feminism and was published in book form in 2014. Dear Ijeawele or The Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Recommendations was publihsed in March, 2017. Her most recent work is an essay on the loss of her father called Notes On Grief.

In 2015, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was named one of TIME Magazine's 100 Most Influential People. In 2017, Fortune magazine ranked her among the 50 greatest leaders in the world.
