An open art workshop for children and adults
Some books and publications are terribly neglected in today’s world, and no one picks them up and stuffs them into their backpacks anymore. During the workshop, we will focus on collage – the connection between text and photographic reproductions – and we will breathe new life into discarded printed materials.
Linking fragmentary texts and images that were originally unrelated will give rise to new, bizarre, humorous, and unexpected scenes and situations. The workshop is based on an original idea by scriptwriter Vojtěch Mašek.

Eminent Kafka scholar Andreas Kilcher will present drawings by Franz Kafka discovered in 2019 in the context of Kafka's biography and art history as well as his literary work and his impressive book, which has been translated into ten languages to date.

The second evening of the Prague Offspring series presents premieres of five new works by Czech and Slovak composers written for Klangforum Wien, commemorates the Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, and climaxes with the Czech premiere of Nether, a dazzling work by the composer-in-residence Rebecca Saunders.
