Contemporary music performed by the BERG Orchestra – new season opening! Czech premiere of a monumental work Shelter by three composers and founders of the New York’s legendary music collective Bang on a Can. Heavenly sounding harmonies next to hard-rocking riffs. In the main role: a human being seeking physical and emotional refuge in the middle of nature and society.
The BERG Orchestra is an excellent Czech ensemble specialized in the performance of contemporary music. Since its inception it has commissioned and premiered more than two hundred new works. In 2021, it won the prestigious Prix Italia award for the Czech Republic for the first time in more than half a century.

Alžběta Tichá: Frekvence
Frequency explores the complex relationship between body, mind, and technology. What happens when we feel nothing at all? And what happens when we go through extreme physical and emotional roller coasters? Alžběta Tichá creates an intimate and dynamic picture of human perception and emotions.
ANDROS
The ANDROS group exhibition explores artistic depictions of the male body within the broader regional context, presenting works by artists from Germany, Austria, and the Visegrad countries alongside those of Czech artists.
Absence of Malice
Does the presumption of innocence hold true in America? Michael Gallagher, the main character in the film Absence of Malice, finds this out the hard way when a fabricated newspaper article accuses him of a crime. The movie is screened in the DOX Summer Cinema on the terrace of DOX+.
