From the Watergate scandal to the origins of the #MeToo movement. From honest journalism to algorithms and fake news. This year’s summer cinema at DOX loosely ties in with the exhibition HIT BY NEWS, which focuses on art and the world of the media. It will feature award-winning films and documentaries inspired by real-life media scandals, the stories of investigative journalists and reporters, a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the harsh world of journalism, and broader reflections on the contemporary media landscape.
Nine summer evenings under the stars on the roof of DOX+. Nine thrilling films about the media’s power (and powerlessness) to change our lives.
You can also look forward to headphones with high-quality sound, a unique view of the Gulliver Airship, and refreshing summer drinks.
