The work of the renowned American photographer Andres Serrano (*1950 New York) deals with social issues, sexuality, racial intolerance and dark aspects of human being. Join curator Otto M. Urban for a guided tour through both parts of the Infamous Beauty exhibition: a set of 60 works entitled Beauty, which feature a cross-section of the artist's oeuvre, and the more recent, complete series Infamous from 2019.

The second evening of the Prague Offspring series presents premieres of five new works by Czech and Slovak composers written for Klangforum Wien, commemorates the Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho, and climaxes with the Czech premiere of Nether, a dazzling work by the composer-in-residence Rebecca Saunders.1 Jun 2024, 8:00 PM
For the third time, the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art will be the venue for Prague Offspring, a Prague Spring Festival concert format dedicated to the latest in contemporary music. In the DOX+ hall, SOČR will present a double concert by singer and pianist Beata Hlavenková and jazz pianist Kristina Barta. The premiere will feature new compositions as well as music inspired by poetry.11 Apr 2024, 7:30 PM
Six new works by four renowned composers – Roland Dahinden, Didrik Ingvaldsen, Jan Dobiáš, and Dag Magnus Narvesen – will be performed in one night. The exhibition will present large-format abstract canvases by the Czech artist Kamila Ženatá, created over the last few years.
