After the previous sold-out Czech premiere of "Flesh", DOX once again hosts another Czech premiere of the unique French artist Franck Vigroux and his ensemble Compagnie D'autres Cordes. In his new work, the artist once again immerses us in a strange world bordering on ancient myth, sci-fi, and fantasy. A stunning visual show with performers and electronic music creates an extraordinary experience and an escape into a landscape that is, however, familiar to us all at its core.
An arid lunar landscape somewhere in the galaxy reminds us of an extinct world and a sci-fi future. Three heroes meet there, each on their own quest for mystery. We set sail with them on their journey. Into a space of music, light, and ambivalent feelings to the point of illumination.
"The Falls" is a musical and visual experience, a contemporary electronic opera.

Franck Vigroux produces a universe in which electronic and contemporary music, theatre, dance and video intersect. After a long period in the "underground" experimental music scene, his work in the early 2000s has evolved to embrace new artistic practices and stage writing. He produces “concept albums” that dwell within and between the realms of storytelling, music, and experimental film. His concerts take the form of audiovisual performances and synesthetic experiences, a multi-disciplinary approach that centers electronic soundscapes amidst sensorial spectacle: "Flesh" (2018), "Forêt" (2021) "Chutes" (2023).
