Joachim, a former Parisian television producer had left everything behind - his children, friends, enemies, lovers and regrets - to start a new life in America. He comes back with a team of New burlesque strip-tease performers whom Joachim has fed fantasies of a tour of France, of Paris! Traveling from port to port, the curvaceous showgirls invent an extravagant fantasy world of warmth and hedonism, despite the constant round of impersonal hotels with their endless elevator music and the lack of money. The show gets an enthusiastic response from men and women alike. But their dream of a tour culminating in a last grand show in Paris goes up in smoke when Joachim is betrayed by an old friend and loses the theatre where they were due to perform. A quick return journey to the capital violently reopens old wounds...

David Lynch: Up in Flames

The exhibition of the American artist David Lynch will present the artistic work of this icon of world cinema for the first time in the Czech Republic.

Miquel Barceló and the Written Worlds

The first-ever presentation of the internationally acclaimed Spanish artist Miquel Barceló in the Czech Republic, focusing on his long and intense relationship with literature.

Joel-Peter Witkin: Broken World

An exhibition presenting photographs and drawings by Joel-Peter Witkin from 2010-2025. The exhibited works, by one of the most influential authors who brought photography to the forefront of the visual arts, show why his work continues to shape the way we think about the body, memory, and the meaning of images.

Eva Švankmajerová: Woe to the Painting…

The exhibition presents the full range of the work of Eva Švankmajerová, a leading artist of the Czech surrealist movement. The fundamental themes of her work, which she approached with relentless irony and emancipatory zeal, included the female body and the fate of women in a society dominated by men.

Point of View 3: Balance

The third instalment of a long-term project seeks a balance between the organic and technical worlds. The work of Czech and foreign artists reveals the various connections between nature and technology - two seemingly disparate environments to which we intrinsically belong today, even though we perceive a certain tension between them.

Thomas Grauman: Confrontations

The exhibition presents photographs by American artist Thomas Grauman, taken during his short visit to Prague and depicting unofficial art events that took place in May 1984 at Jiří David's studio.

Viktorie Langer: Paradiso Colore

At the Polička/Shelf Gallery in the Archive of Fine Arts, Viktorie Langer is exhibiting for the first time ever an interview with painter Jitka Válová, which was created in her early artistic days as a high school project.

BERG Orchestra: 25x2

Grand finale of the BERG Orchestra’s 25th anniversary season. 25 composers created 25 short pieces, 2 minutes each – in a form of sound postcards or greetings. A special birthday project at DOX+.

Gioele Coccia: Never So Close, Never So Far

One body. Many faces. Alone in plain sight. Fragmented into thousands of versions, we search in vain for our essence. We are more visible than ever, yet behind our masks we hunger for connection. And each futile attempt digs deeper into our core. A cross-section of the work of Italian choreographer, dancer, and dance filmmaker Gioele Coccia.

Czech Hero

Satirical physical theater production Czech Hero by the theatre ensemble Farm in the Cave, which focuses on the contemporary and pressing topic of disinformation and political marketing. Movement, words, live music, dynamics, energy, exaggeration. All this in the DOX+ hall.

All Is Good in Heaven

Farm in the Cave has created a unique evening performance that takes place in dialogue with the exhibition David Lynch: Up in Flames. Inspired by Lynch's courage to follow his imagination.

Dean Hurley: Through This World + support Freddy Ruppert

Dean Hurley, David Lynch's long-time collaborator, will present his live audiovisual performance at DOX+. The evening will be supported by artist Freddy Ruppert.

Alžběta Tichá: Frequency

Frequency explores the complex relationship between body, mind, and technology. What happens when we feel nothing at all? And what happens when we go through extreme physical and emotional roller coasters? Alžběta Tichá creates an intimate and dynamic picture of human perception and emotions. Part of the Cirkopolis festival.

GA-I-SU-RA

A homage to Petr Geisler and his work, GA-I-SU-RA also pays tribute to calligraphy as a form of inner expression, reminding us that writing and beautiful script have always been a natural reflection of (not only) a pure soul. From his expressive calligraphy through multiple-exposure photography from 1980s Japan to his monumental inscription of the Buddhist Heart Sutra.

Is this the end?
No, it's the beginning.
